The Inn on the Square competes with several traditional style hotels all within walking distance, so we wanted it to be unique and to become a destination hotel, rather than just somewhere to stay in the town. The original Imperial Hotel was demolished in the 1960s but some of the artefacts from this original building still remain, lending the interior of the ‘new’ building an eclectic mix of styles. Our client wanted an interior that dismissed neither the history nor the emotional attachment of its existing clientele.
