Luxurious Wilton For London Hotel

An impressive 3,600 square metres of bespoke woven axminster carpet from Wilton Carpets was specified by the hotel in conjunction with interior design company Lynne Hunt London. With two designs in complementary colourways for guestrooms and a further coordinating design for public corridors, a sense of synergy is achieved throughout the hotel. With its resilient 80/20 construction, the carpet is hard wearing and capable of withstanding the impact of Jumeirah Carlton Tower Hotel’s many guests.

Inspired by the spectacular leafy scenery of the nearby private gardens of Cadogan Place, Lynne Hunt London worked closely with the Wilton Design Team to create the carpet within the corridors. Using a trend-inspired colourway of mustard and midnight blue, this carpet incorporates a bold falling leaf design that lends modern elegance to the hotel’s public spaces.

Having worked successfully with the British carpet manufacturer before, the hotel wanted to maintain the high level of product across their comfortable and desirable rooms for complete consistency.  In terms of the design process, we aimed for an organic style and chose an autumnal colour palette of deep blues, mustards and greys. The carpet covering the corridors incorporates all the colours used in the guest bedrooms to ensure stunning coordinated style throughout the entire hotel.”
