Factory Operatives
England’s premier carpet weaver has been based on the same site in Wilton for over 300 years and currently has a number of different trainee Factory Operative vacancies.
The work is varied and full on-the-job training is provided. We have a competitive starting rate of £17,550 (£9 per hour) with salaries rising to £18,000 after training and average salaries of £21,000 in the Weaving section. Night shift work attracts a 40% premium.
The successful candidates will need to pass a colour blindness test. Work hours are 37.5hrs over two shifts in a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Shifts are 6am to 2pm or 2pm to 10pm, Monday to Friday, with night shift worked on a voluntary basis.
