Glimpse the stunning interiors of this Grade II listed 16th Century private residence in the North of England we’ve just been lucky enough to carpet, expertly fitted by Kendal Quality Carpets.
Having stayed at Grantley Hall Hotel, which we lavishly carpeted a couple of years ago, the clients wanted to capture the same quintessentially British note in the design, but bring it right up to date, weaving a timeless herringbone pattern in contemporary greys. The distressed herringbone is overlaid with a geometric motif creating a striking border through the showpiece hall, stairs and landing in this exceedingly grand home. The bedrooms were also carpeted in the same quality axminster carpet which carries the herringbone pattern through the top floor, totalling 500 square meters.
James Greenall, of KQC had this to say of the project;
“This has been a really lovely project to work on. Our team of expert fitters enjoyed being involved on a project of this scale that isn’t commercial; it was a great opportunity to showcase their skills working in a listed property. The history of the building makes it really exciting to be involved with and we’re really pleased with the result.”
